It's Impossible That Hillary Doesn't Know

By Rob Tenery, MD on August 23, 2016

For a moment, put aside Hillary Clinton’s role in the Benghazi slaughter of four Americans when, when as Secretary of State, she reportedly told the families of the deceased that the reason for the attack was due to an anti-Muslim video while she confessed to her own daughter that it was a terrorist attack. Don’t count that her email server was set up in violation of State Department rules. Temporarily forget that she tried to wipe her server clean of many top-secret emails she claimed were never there.

Don’t pay attention to the discrepancy between the Director of the FBI, James Comey’s, testimony that she was ‘extremely careless’ with emails on her server and Hillary’s contradictory retort, “Director Comey said my answers were truthful. And what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people, that there were decisions discussed and made to classify retroactively certain emails.” Also, don’t judge the discrepancies in her denying any special treatment and links between donations to the Clinton Foundation and Bill Clinton’s half-million dollar plus speaking fees from Middle Eastern countries that discriminate against women, gays and practice Sharia law.

Bernie Sanders had complained that the road to the Democratic nomination for President was rigged against him. At first look, he was wrong because Hillary Clinton did get more votes in the primaries. His complaints mainly centered around the vast plurality of Superdelegate (Democratic Party insiders) votes that were committed to Clinton from the start of the campaign. Also the decision by the leadership of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to limit the number of primary television debates and broadcast them at times of lower viewership which was an advantage to Clinton.

Then there was the announcement of leaked DNC emails, just prior to the Democratic convention. The release by Wikileaks of a trove of emails from high-ranking Democratic Party officials that the DNC actively conspired against Bernie Sanders in an attempt to ensure the nomination for Hillary Clinton. The chairperson of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Shultz, was forced to step down. Incidentally, Shultz was then hired on immediately by the Hillary Clinton campaign, only adding validity to Sanders’ accusations of a ‘rigged system’.

The latest bombshell that has been essentially ignored by the mainstream media, appeared in an article published on May 2 in Politico by Ken Vogel and Issac Arnsdorf. They point out a ‘backdoor advantage’ for the Clinton campaign by discovering an anomaly in the Federal Election Commission filings.*

A joint fundraising committee called the Hillary Victory Fund, ostensibly designed to funnel money from rich donors to local party committees, had been used as a cut-out to funnel money back to the national party and the Clinton campaign. Under campaign finance law, donors can fund only $5,400 per election cycle to Hillary’s campaign, $33,000 per year to the DNC and $10,000 per year to each of the 32 state committees in the Victory Fund.”*

Upon further investigation, Vogel and Arnsdorf learned that less than 1 percent of the reported $61 million raised by the Victory Fund stayed with the state committees. Interviewing state committee sources, Vogel and Arnsdorf were told that sometimes large sums of money would appear briefly in state committees’ accounts, and disappear just as quickly, being deposited into the DNC’s accounts. The Politico article also noted the treasurer of the Victory Fund is also the COO of the Hillary Clinton campaign. Additionally, the authors noted that of the $23.3 million spent directly by the Victory Fund most “had gone toward expenses that appear to have directly benefited Clinton’s campaign, including $2.8 million for salaries and overhead and $8.6 million for web advertising that mostly looks indistinguishable from Clinton campaign ads.”*

This story in Politico raises serious questions of violation of campaign finance laws as well as collusion in directing monies away from the down ballot Democratic candidates.

It has been clear from the start of the campaign that the DNC supported Hillary Clinton. Bernie Sanders and his supporters were on to it. But probably even they didn’t suspect to what extent Debbie Wasserman Shultz and her cronies would stoop to ‘rig’ the election in Hillary’s favor.

Bernie Sanders’ supporters, as well as loyal Democrats, should be enraged that the leadership of the DNC, along with Hillary, appear to have betrayed their trust and diverted funding away from their own down ballot candidates in an attempt to buy a victory for Hillary.

Now, couple this last revelation of apparent campaign finance violations, Hillary’s use of a non-approved server, intentional erasing of possible top-secret emails, contradictory statements to the director of the FBI’s pronouncements, her questionable ties to the Foundation in her role as Secretary of State, proven favoritism by the DNC leadership and what do you have? Not someone that any of us should want as our next President!

Maybe the most telling of the kind of person Hillary Clinton is was when she looked into the faces of Sean Smith’s mother and Tyrone Wood’s father, two of the parents whose children lost their lives, and lied to them that she was going to have the filmmaker arrested who was responsible for the deaths of their sons in the attack at Benghazi.**
